    An appeal is a petition and argument to a higher court filed after losing at trial court.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    I accept all major credit cards, cash, checks and payments from family.

  • How long do I have to appeal?

    Usually 30 days or less

  • How much does an appeal cost?

    I cannot give you a full answer without looking at the trial court record and orders. What I will do, if I am willing to take your case, if give you a total cost that I will not exceed.

  • Do you take payments?

    I am happy to discuss if I can, but, usually not.

  • Do you take criminal appeals?

    No, but I can refer you to attorneys who do.

  • Do you have a free consultation?

    Yes, I offer a free consultation for an appeal.

  • What kind of cases will you appeal?

    Civil verdicts and family law orders, such as custody, allocation of parenting, division of assets and child support.

  • If I live outside of Illinois can you help me?

    No, because I am only licensed in Illinois

  • Will you represent me if I live outside of O'Fallon, IL or the Metro East?

    Yes, I represent families that live all over the State of Illinois on appeal.

  • Will you represent me for someting else?

    Probably not but you are welcome to see if it is a type of case I handle

  • Why should I hire you instead of a different attorney?

    I offer something other attorneys often do not: when I tell you the price, I will not exceed the price I quote. I am approachable, friendly, and, most importantly, my cats think I am awesome.
